Actually, no, obviously. David Tennant and Patrick Stewart are both far too fine actors to allow anything of the kind. Ooooh, it was good.
Even from seats high in the gallery - which were the only ones we could get, even going online as an associate RSC member at the earliest opportunity. Yup, it's a sell-out run.
But like the man says, the play's the thing. ( more behind the cut so as not to spoil anything for folk who'll be seeing it themselves )
So that was Saturday. Sunday was laundry and ironing and housework and cooking dinner, so a weekend of two halves really. Not that I'm complaining. While doing all those not-overly-taxing things, I had a variety of helpful thoughts about drawing the various threads of the book in hand more effectively together as I approach the final phase.
And I had some very interesting notions about an overall strategy for most effective use of the whole new scenario that's taking shape off in the writerly distance hereabouts. Hmmmmm.
