Anyway, I shall be at PicoCon at Imperial College, London tomorrow - enjoying the programme rather than participating in it. Definitely looks to be a good day in prospect - as it usually is.
As far as professional events, I shall be one of a group of Local Voices reading at Borders, Oxford, on the evening of 2nd April, one of the new OxFringe events.
Local authors having got a bit tired of getting no chance of a sniff at any participation in the official Sunday Times Oxford lit fest are putting together various fringe events this year with a view to developing an annual alternative programme.
And speaking of alternatives, I shall be at Alt.fiction in Derby on 26th April, along with Sarah Ash and Chaz Brenchley of The Write Fantastic. Programme yet to be announced but given the past couple of years, this should be a stellar day out for SF&F fans.
