I've just come across this excellent article about Philip K Dick in the Times Online (and presumably in the hardcopy on the 24th Feb) by Lisa Tuttle.
Better yet, it's linked to a competition to win the six PKD books that Gollancz are re-issuing.
As you can tell from this concise, incisive, unapologetic piece, Lisa is herself a writer well worth reading - and her Writing Fantasy and Science Fiction handbook is one that aspiring genre writers should definitely seek out.
