There's a subject line that should generate some traffic...

Anyway, I posted a piece on cover art today over at [livejournal.com profile] writefantastic referencing Michael Gove MP showing how little he knows about current fantasy fiction on Radio 4's Today programme last week.

A commnenter with an excellent memory and awesome google skills came up with a book that does indeed feature a triple-breasted woman. Such diligence cannot go unrewarded, so I went and found a shot of the cover in question. I can't work out how to post it over there in the TWF comments but here it is, for you all to see.

Please note the spaceship. Not a swords'n'sorcery book then.

The triple breasted woman does seem to be an SF phenomenon, judging by the comments to the previous post. But fantasy cannot feel in any sense superior, given the chain mail bikini. Or, in this eye-watering example, the studded chain mail thong. Courtesy of the Czech edition of The Thief's Gamble. Also, for your erm, viewing pleasure, the Czech cover of The Gambler's Fortune. Aka Livak the Bondage Pirate!

Caption competition, anyone?
